Feel Lighter

Somatic & Integrative Psychotherapy

Virtual Therapy for Asian-American and BIPOC Women across Massachusetts to reconnect with their body, clarity, and inner steadiness

I’m grateful you’ve landed here

You understand your patterns. Yet something still feels stuck.

I work with thoughtful, high-functioning adults who are ready for deeper change—not just insight, but transformation at the nervous system level.

I specialize in supporting women of color, immigrants, LGBTQIA+ individuals, caregivers, and aging adults who are navigating the impact of perfectionism, burnout, anxiety, intergenerational trauma, chronic stress, and life transitions.

Together, we help your system move toward feeling:

Steadier ⬩ Lighter ⬩ Grounded

You don’t have to carry this alone

Using Brainspotting, a gentle, body-based trauma-informed therapy, somatic therapy, and a collaborative therapeutic relationship, we help your nervous system process what has been carrying the burden of survival for far too long

Because stress, trauma, and survival patterns don't just live in your thoughts —

They live in the body.

When you’re ready, we can take the next step, Together.

Meet Your Therapist

Hi, I’m Yoko.

You’re invited to arrive just as you are.

I’m a Massachusetts-based clinical social worker, first generation Asian American, and an adult TCK (third culture kid). My pronouns are she/her/they. My work is trauma-informed and somatic-oriented, grounded in Brainspotting and supported by parts-work, mindfulness, and relational care — attending to both your inner world and your nervous systems.

My practice centers women of color and those with cross-cultural identities. I also welcome anyone who has felt unseen, overwhelmed, disconnected, or shaped by marginalization.

There’s no need to perform here. We move at the pace your system is ready for.

As Linda Thai, a Trauma-therapist reminds us,

“Your body is the keeper of your lived experience — and also the doorway to your liberation”

This reflects the heart of my work.
