Extended Therapy Sessions
A spacious therapy format for those seeking deeper work, meaningful integration, and a more sustainable approach to healing for clients in Massachusetts
Many people today are balancing demanding careers, family responsibilities, and full lives.
While they value therapy, maintaining a weekly or biweekly schedule can sometimes feel difficult to sustain. This is why extended therapy sessions have become a meaningful option for many clients.
You may be wondering:
Why choose a longer session?
And how can fewer, longer sessions be a more sustainable investment of time, energy, and resources?
Longer sessions are not necessarily better for everyone, but for some people they create the space to slow down, move beyond the initial catch-up, and engage more deeply in the therapeutic process.
For those with busy schedules or a desire for deeper work, extended sessions can offer a more realistic rhythm—fewer appointments, more spacious time, and a pace that supports meaningful change.
I created some questions to ask yourself below to help you make sense of this.
How Often Do People Schedule
