Noticing these patterns?
This is where consistent therapy can create meaningful, lasting change.
Weekly or Bi-weekly — what’s the difference?
Weekly
Weekly sessions are recommended, especially when you’re noticing ongoing patterns that feel hard to shift, or navigating stress, anxiety, life transitions, or periods of emotional strain. Weekly work allows us to stay close to these patterns as they arise, so sessions can focus on deeper processing and integration, rather than catching up or re-orienting.
Bi-weekly
Bi-weekly sessions may be appropriate once stability is established, though meeting less frequently can slow progress with more entrenched patterns. To support continuity of care, I strongly recommend at least twice-monthly sessions. Sessions spaced every 3–4 weeks are generally not sufficient for sustained progress.
If you’re using insurance or have a lower out-of-pocket cost, weekly sessions can help you make the most of your benefits and often support more efficient, focused care.
