What are Brainspotting & Somatic Therapy Intensives?

Extended sessions for deeper brain-body healing and meaningful change.

An Intensive May Be a Good Fit,

If You’re Wanting To:

  • When insight alone hasn’t been enough, intensives offer space to work with what’s held in the body—gently accessing and releasing patterns that have felt immovable over time.

  • Support for working through a particular trauma, memory, or life event with care, pacing, and somatic attunement—without rushing the process.

  • If your system has been cycling between overwhelm, numbness, or looping thoughts, extended sessions allow time for regulation and nervous-system settling.

  • For those wanting more than short-term strategies, intensives create room for integration, clarity, and deeper internal reorganization.

  • Access body-based awareness and emotional processing that often remains out of reach in shorter sessions—guided by your nervous system’s readiness.

Your Intensive Experience

You may choose:

  • A single intensive for focused support on a specific area

  • A series of intensives for deeper, ongoing work over time

Each session is shaped around your goals, your capacity, and the pace that feels most supportive.

Every session includes:

  • Grounding and intention-setting

  • Brainspotting and somatic processing

  • Gentle integration and closing

Accessibility & Payment

A limited number of sliding-scale options may be available as part of my commitment to community care.

Please note: Most insurance plans reimburse only for standard 45–60 minute sessions and typically do not cover extended or multi-hour formats such as intensives.

Many clients choose to:

  • Use HSA/FSA funds to pay for intensives

  • Submit a superbill for possible partial reimbursement if their plan includes out-of-network benefits

* I’m happy to discuss options during a consultation.
